EPIC games is OFFICIALLY FUCKED IN THE HEAD

THe one and only motivation to get the game should be the fact that the game is only available on 360 for now. NOT EXCLUSIVE EXTRA CONTENT.

I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade my pc just to enjoy gears on full graphics with extra content.
This is the original reason why i switched over to the xbox years ago from PC, to avoid stupid bullshit like this.

Taking advantage of all the 360 input for improvements and literally screwing over all the 360 players loyal efforts.


FUCK YOU EPIC GAMES.. you USE to be my favourite game developer. I feel, as many others, VERY VERY betrayed. Im not going to get UT3 any more. Don't want to deal with bullshit like this again.

man I totaly agree and thats why I moved to Xbox & 360 just to avoid all the upgrade hastle and avoid wasting £1000 on upgrading my pc & gfx, to find out that next month my gfx cant run latest games any more. That totaly sucks I'm not buying a game for a PC no matter how good it is.

This is one of them things that has really annoyed me relating to xb consoles they never keep there games locked to there console only there is always a pc release so really why bother with a 360 when could just pay about £1500 for a full package pc and that will run everything.

I know some one is going to say but 360 is only £280 but you do get a lot more from a pc then 360 which justifies the extra amount.

I thought I read several times that it was going to run on XP.

As for exclusive content, I don't know anyone who doesn't find that to be annoying. With any game. The reason you port is to reach a broader audience, not to dance people who already bought the game around from place to place.

it will run on xp too. thus creating no benefit for MS and incredible annoyences for Gears fans

The Xbox 360's flagship title just became the gimped version compared to a PC, thus one less reason to own a 360. The content includes, 5 new chapters, many new multiplayer maps, new achievements and a map editor. Plus with a good PC/Video card the graphics are far superior. I bet they will get all this content plus what the 360 has for a $50 price tag.

MS needs all the exclusives the 360 can get, Sony has a huge 1st party developement team and how many of those are going to be on the PC??? None. They appreciate the fact that you can only get the experience on the PS3 and for some reason MS just doesn't seem to care and in turn is going to get your asses handed to them. When we will see Mario Galaxy on PC? Never. Again, Nintendo is focused on their console. MS is so busy trying to fill bags with money that they will compromise anything.

I predict Mass Effect on PC coming in Q2 of 08. The 360 is turning into 3rd party garbage land..

Forget a first day purchase for Gears 2 and UT3, oh wait that's being delayed on the 360 so they can dumb it down because MS won't allow MOD's.

Making Halo 2 a Vista exclusive was a huge mistake and I can't believe it needs such a high spec PC when the xbox is a measly 733MHz celeron with 64MB of RAM and a variant of the GeForce 3 GFX card yet it runs Halo 2 so well.

The only reason it apealed to me was that you can get achievements by playing online, I'm glad I didn't buy it.

i might be the only one not TOTALLY bummed about this. sucks, but I will still play it on the pc. havent played anything on pc in ages. I used to be all about the pc.... hmmmm, times ah' change. bring on the gears!!
