Can I ask why you need a modchip if you already have a softmod xbox?

All the current gen modchips dont change any features or make them better wether you put them in a 1.0 xbox or a 1.6 xbox. The only different thing about it is when you install into a 1.6 you have rebuild the LPC.
As for keeping the softmod on...You can leave it installed but it makes no point in having a modchip. One of the main benifits of having a modchip installed is so that you can disable it easily and have the xbox boot like it was stock. But if you leave the softmod installed even when you disable the chip your xbox will still load the hacked dash. |
