Hi I'm new at xbox modding and I would like to know if it is possible to put custom maps in GTA San Andreas.
I've already tried one following the instructions wich were included in a readme file but it doesn't worked, my game crashed at the beginning screen when the game is loading (not the save, the game).
So if someone could help me, well..that would be cool.

Xbox Version: unk
360 version: unknown

as far as i know its not possible

I know you can install Myriad & Northern Expansion on VC , http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=403471 . Mabye that could help?

It dosen't mean that maps WON'T work though. The game crashing could just be down to the TXD's being too big, if it is all you need to do convert them to VC xbox (even if its for SA) with TXD workshop ( http://www.thegtaplace.com/pafiledb.php?ac...file&id=722 )

and then install as the readme says so...........

Let me know if you get it working biggrin.gif

Ok thanks I'll try that this evening.
But another question, could it be because the gta.dat file is the PC version? Because there is a file named like that in the map folder and I suggested it was because of this.

I tried converting the txd to the VC Xbox format but it still didn't worked.
The problem came form the txd s wich were to big for the game.

PS: Sorry for the double post, I didn't find the edit button.
