My Xbox seems to have an odd problem with it. It won't turn on unless I have the video cord plugged out =/ If I have the cord plugged in, it acts like a dead xbox.
I have tried using different power cords, different outlets, and different video cable cords, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Or will I need a new Xbox? sad.gif

Thanks for your time smile.gif

Does it turn on at all with the video cable plugged in?
Maybe a steady green light on the front?

Nah, it doesn't. It only turns on when I have the cable not plugged in.
Actually, when I have the little mic dongle plugged in my controller, it turns green for a couple of seconds even when the xbox doesn't do anything.

Edit: After two months of just leaving the xbox alone, it just seems to have worked again o_O Sorry for this now useless thread, but thanks helping. biggrin.gif It's actually quite odd...hopefully it doesn't come back.

Double edit: I tried opening the dvd tray, and it wouldn't open. I tap it on the top (I'm used to having to do this cause my dvd tray has had a problem with opening), and it seemed like my lid wasn't fully on. So when I hit it, it snapped down, and now my xbox wont work again >_<
