I love seeing stuff like that. When I was in the military I had the chance to go to downtown Kuwait city while waiting for my flight back to the states. There's all kinds of friggin' neat stuff for sale there. Modchips in shop windows, pre-modded consoles, Discman VCD/SVCD Players, etc.

I think the best premod I saw was a PS2 in a new package, as in not the sony box, pretty nice looking too, called Game Station 2. I don't know what chip it had in it but it was still neat.

Then while I was in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in one of the malls there they had TONS of "wanna be" NES, SNES, and Sega systems. (not to mention several extremely attractive young ladies)

lawsuit = Demanda

And just for the record: these things are NOT Mexican, they just happen to be sold in México tongue.gif 99% of these kind of thins are chinese.

I just wonder which "serious" store he was in... I've seen plenty of those in informal places (the kinda of places where illegal copies are sold), but never in a serious place.

wow i am almost speechless - an 8 bit emulator...talk about old-school

amazing how they can get away with packaging that really tries to mimic (at least partially) the 360 box.

Most likely this is no emulation happening in this so called "emulator" system. Most of them use the nes on a chip design to run a game and no software emulation.

It's emulating the functionality of an NES.
The patent ran out on the NES a while back, and these things sprang up like wildfire.
