Same old gripes from people.
Any price drop should be welcomed. It is in actual fact cheaper than if they left it so I don't understand why this sort of news is always received so negatively.
IMO the 360 is cheap enough anyway. A lot of console for not much money.
Problem is the GP have been educated into thinking Electronic equipment should be available for next to nothing. I get customers moaning at me when DVD players costing £17.99 go faulty. I mean Come On!
I would rather pay for a quality product that can be kept for years and repaired economically.
MS should introduce approved agent repairs where people can walk in locally and get a console repaired with in stock parts either in warranty or out. The price drops are compensation for the public knowledge of problems with the 360 and an attempt to win back favour.
People are moaning about price drop because come on it's poor really many places have been selling it for them prices already and still the other countries get far better deal.
I totally agree with you for the price you do get a lot but people don't expect it to fail after a year for any reason which is how at a guess people see it as with 360 had 3 myself fail which was non 3RROD which ends up not being cheap.
Regarding the £17.99 dvd failing why can't people moan they have used there money to buy it and to some people that is lot of money which by the way your saying it is nothing to you so then will you give them there £17.99 back or buy them a better player no you wont.
I like your repair agents idea very good one but I suppose on MS point they will have to spend more money for that which could cost them a lot more then people just sending it back to them. Maybe you should offer it to them yourself see what they say.
