Ok, ok, so maybe Free Bird isn't that hard on Expert.. but I found it to be quite the accomplishment.

I usually failed at 57%.. Then 2 nights ago I got to 64%.. Then tonight, I beat it!

Yeah, I know.. I didn't do too well.

(I was playing on Quick Play.. So no, I didn't beat Expert)

As of now, I've done the first 34 songs in Career Mode on Expert.

I've beaten a bunch of the Bonus Tracks on Expert.. mainly through Quick Play.. not through Career.. So there's no way for me to check which Bonus Tracks I've done.

I think a lot of the songs in the last set are wayy harder than Free Bird. I was "practicing" them (Just trying to see the song without worry about failing).. and they were friggin' crazy!

So yeah, what songs have you beaten on Expert?

Anyone beat Jordan, Six, Thunderhorse, Trogdor, or The Light That Blinds on Expert??

Honestly, I don't think it's humanly possible to beat Jordan.

Those youtubers have to be hax0ring!

Seriously though, It's like a wall of notes just fall and by the time you even realize what color note fell when and what finger to press and when to strum... 100 notes went by.

I think the furthest I've gone is 20 something percent.

i've beaten every song in the game on expert except for jordan (i die at about 56%, just a few seconds before the blue note of freedom).

honestly, jordan isn't that bad except for the solo A-D. solo E onward is very beatable (check it out in practice mode at full speed), and i can get up to the solo's in the green.

oh man!

I made some intense progress today! I beat Freya and Stop! on Expert. So now I'm onto the next to last set. I've beaten 4 out of the 6 songs... I can't beat Psychobilly Freakout. But once I beat that, I know I can beat YYZ.. because I've done it before.

Then from there.. I quit. Because the last set is hard as hell.. except for Free Bird :-P

i actually found freebird to be the hardest song in that set on hard. the megadeth song was pretty easy, carry me home was pretty tough, miserlou wasn't that bad. institutionalized you'll get with practice. beast and the harlot is damn fun.

I've beaten everything in Career on Expert except Free Bird... working on that, might get it today. (i hope...)

As far as the last set goes:
Beast and the Harlot was fun. tongue.gif
Carry Me Home was easier than I expected because of the ridiculous amount of time I spent trying to five-star it on hard. rolleyes.gif
Institutionalized... ehh. Took like 5 tries. STAR POWER THE STUPID SOLOS. I can't move my fingers that fast in that direction, and I don't have the coordination to flip my hand over for that part. mad.gif
Misirlou just takes decent time and proper star power use. And Hangar 18... DAMN I love that song. biggrin.gif

I've beaten most of the unlock songs on Expert, except for Six, Trogdor, Jordan (of course) and there might be a few others. The Light that Blinds is actually fairly easy when you get down to it, although I can only 3-star it.

Oh, and Hyper Speed can help a lot on some of the hardest songs. Blue-Orange-Yellow-Orange-Blue-Orange-Yellow-Yellow at the main menu.

Hi, my name is Danny and I am a Guitar Hero II-aholic.

I played the game for the first time last friday...

and I already beat the game on Easy, Medium, and Hard. I'm workin on Expert...
I'm currently stuck sad.gif
I've beaten all the songs up to the 5th section, but I can only manage to get through John The Fisherman in the 5th section of songs sad.gif

I was pretty stoked about 5 mins ago, I managed to get 300k+ on Heart-Shaped Box on Expert! only mesed up like 3 times and they were all stupid mistakes sad.gif
big accomplishment for me anyways! lol

I seriously love this game! I can't wait for GHIII!

But update on the expert gameplay...

I've now beaten every song on Expert up to "Bad Reputation"... I'm actually going to have to use the Practice thing... I only had to use that once, but it helped, so hopefully ill be able to get past it lol

I got like 30% on Beast and the Harlot on Expert on Quick Play.. till I lost.. that song is friggin hard on expert lol

Beast and the Harlot is pretty difficult. I don't even remember how far I can get in that song.

I've beaten everything on expert, including jordan, six, thunderhorse, the light that blinds(my fav song on hard as well). The light that blinds isn't real that hard im working on trying to 5 star everything so far the song giving me most trouble is jordan and misirlou.

Your fingers must be beast! A long with your hand-eye coordination.

I feel as if it's super impossible to beat Psychobilly Freakout.

I can barely make it to the chorus.. and when I do..which is like once in every 50 tries.. I just fail completely.

How the hell do you alternate between red/blue and yellow/orange so quickly!?!??

Then there's also that one part that shows up pretty early in the song.. even before the chorus.. where it's green then red/yellow.. and it repeats for like 10 seconds. That's hard as hell also!

I think Guitar Hero 3 is going to come out before I ever beat this song!

I need tips, tricks, etc!!!

I beat Beast and the Harlot.

I got to like 87% on Carry Me Home.
