This is a bit off topic but I wasnt sure where else to post it.

I'm trying to "recycle" one of my old xbox shells. I am adding a new mobo to it (pIII 1ghz) to make a normal PC out of it. I dont want to spend a fortune on a new PSU and none of my PC PSU's wll fit with out destroying the shell of the xbox. Is there a way to mod a ver 1.1 PSU to power a normal ATX mobo?

It wouldnt have much of a load on it because I will be just running the mobo, laptop drive and a dvd rom just long enough to install windows.

Thanks in advance. I've looked all over the internet for a diagram or guide to do this and came up empty.

I'd say just use a PicoPSU or one of the larger PSU listed on the site. I'm not sure how big your motherboard is, but you might also be able to find a microATX PSU somewhere with the right dimensions.
