Theory
I heard from a friend, that account are getting banned based on the speed of you disk.
All legit XBox 360 should drive at exactly the same speed. And if this differences, MS auto-bans you.
This not happens at the moment, because of stealth mode.
So if you use a legit disc in a modified XBox 360, you wouldn't have any chance of getting banned. But if you use a back-upped 360 game, there is chance.
Can anyone confirm this for me?
So in short:
Legit disc on modified 360 - no risc of getting banned
Back up disc on modified 360 - there is risc of getting banned

I personally highly doubt that. The drives are designed to change speeds. Say for instance, you put a disk in thats scratched, the laser can't read at 12x,so the drive changes speed so the laser can read the disk. Thats what I believe based on things I've read. |

But if you play legit games you bought in the shop, and you play with it online. Will you have any risk of getting banned? Or do you only have that risk when you play a back up game. |
