I'd have though it would go for a lot more than that . $149 Aussie dollars is only about £60, thats about the same as the LE pack will cost!.

doubt they will be banning anyone for having early copies, as everygame has early copies out due to promotions and people with connections, (working at a gamestore).

I have a few friends that work at Gamestop and they almost always have games before their release date.

Am i the only one who really really doesn't care about Halo3 coming out? Hell, im a huge fan of the games, and i'll definently be getting it, but i can wait. There's no real urgancy to find out how the story ends, and if Bungie hired better writing staff this time around.

You're not the only one bud. I thought Halo 1 and 2 were decent and will probably get 3, but I really don't see what all the fuss is about. Perhaps I've missed something. I can name 5 fps that I like more.

Of course everyone can wait but considering its one of the most anticipated games of the year, its hard not to be excited. Whenever I think of halo I always think of me and 7 of my friends locked in a small dorm room till 2-3 in the morning killing each other repeatedly. For some reason, this game is the ultimate staple in console lan parties. I'm not sure if I would've made it through college without halo there to help take the edge off

I won't be one of the people waiting in line at 5pm the day before the game's release but I will be strolling into my local wally mart at 12 to get my copy Me and the above mentioned friends have already taken off work to game the day away and catch up on good times.

The "some reason" is because it was the first console game that really had all of those features. Excelent first person shooter, multiple weapon (what I would call) genres, people that talked without needed text and funny sounds, vehicles, and who can forget 16 player mode on Sidewinder and other stages. The reason this franchise is so popular is because when we all went out and excitedly bought our first xbox 1, this game blew our minds! My first two games were Halo and Madden. Madden has long been gone but I still own my original copy of Halo. Something that can give you that much enjoyment for only $50~60 is well worth the money in my opinion. I can't even begin to count the number of hours we spent playing it. But I can tell you I've spent much more money on other things that have come and gone.
