i have one and I'm pretty sure that it's a falcon, not the zephyr. but i haven't opened it. but i can 100% confirm that it has the new VGA heatsink.

I haven't actually played mine yet, only watched a DVD with the HDMI 720p upconvert I've been looking forward to. Mine has the Hitachi, and if anyone can give me the right advice to check for Falcon without voiding a warranty, I'll do it. I'll even figure out how to post pics and do that too. tongue.gif

my personal guess is that it's still a zephyr inside.
But like I said it's a guess, we'll have to wait till someone opens it. Can't check it myself yet as it's only coming out the 26th here.

what blue? there is no blue anywhere on the console.
there is green, black, gold/copper, grey, yellow, red, and dark green.

interesting enough, it has the old style warranty label, not the new one that looks like the Windows COA stickers.

other facts about my console: system dated august 4th (and some idiot put that sticker on crooked), the sticker on the actual hard drive (i did open that up) is dated aug. 1st. part of the metal shield inside the hard drive is revision E and the other is revision D while my launch console was both revision D. my faceplate was made on aug. 7th.

the power supply is only 2 pins from the wall while my launch console had 3 (one was the middle ground).

and the Ethernet cord is grounded... it has a metal shield around each end instead of just plastic - which i have never seen before. the Ethernet cord is also two twisted pair instead of my launch console (and what is the norm) of four twisted pair.
