Hello!
Any help would be very much appreciated... I have a chipped Xbox that I bought off someone, so I don't know what chip is in it, nor did I install XBMC on it.

It had a very old version of XBMC on it and I decided to try and upgrade, I followed all the instructions and overwrote my initial installation.

I also overwrote the evoxdash file in the C: to a shortcut file supplied in the downloaded installation folder (in order to try and get XBMC to boot on initial load)

my problem now is that all I get when I turn on my xbox is the normal MS dash. I think (having looked around on forums) that the file i wrote to the C: is telling the initial load bios to look for XBMC on the E: rather than the F: where I installed it.

so.......

How can I now ftp into my xbox in order to put it right? any ideas guys?

Xbox Version: none
360 version: none

the shortcut points to a specific location ..

http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/wiki/index....=As_a_Dashboard

you have to edit the cfg file that comes with shortcut file or if your using the other one than you have to put XBMC in E:\apps\xbmc

to get back in you will need to get a recovery disc .. slayers , aid , etc..
