Halo 3 to boost Xbox 360 sales to 400k, says analyst
Posted by XanTium | September 18 21:20 EST | News Category: Xbox360

From punchjump.com:
[QUOTE]
An analyst this week told USA Today that the release of Halo 3 will boost Xbox 360 U.S. sales to about 400,000 units in Sept.

Michael Pachter, an analyst with Wedbush Morgan Securities, predicts an increase of 130,000 Xbox 360 units from Aug. U.S. sales due to the impact of Halo 3.
Additionally, Pachter expects first-day sales of at least 2.5 million copies and sales that could total $200 million.

Please, stop putting up analyst's predictions and marketing figures, unless they are dramatic, they don't affect a user's experience with a console. I'm content with modding news and quick previews of new games and accessories, as long as there isn't a new news item everytime somebody discovers that they have five screws or hears a rumor.

So doesn't this mean they will sell most of their current inventory and can then start releasing systems with the Falcon chip?
