That looks horrible. It just looks like a spray job. The grey hard drive is there because it matches the rest of the case. Unless you were painting the top and bottom grills white, then this is useless. Even then, if u were to paint them, surely you'd just paint your own hard drive case too.

Hating these companies. Things like clear cases are useful, cos we cant make them, but things like this are dumb. Its called modding, DIY, paint! The mods seem to be getting less and less DIY.

I agree, you can paint them in black or white. Chrome to match their chrome case, you can't really paint it to match and I assume they will come out with clear-coloured ones to match their translucent cases. Thats the real benefit I see, is having one to match one of those cases if you have it. You can paint your HD blue or green or whatever it's still not going to match the translucent cases right. Of course real modders don't use those cases, they just paint their own case translucent. lol.

They should have just bundled these with their matching XCM cases from the begining. Or at least start to bundle them now.

Just because true modders don't care about that stuff, there's still a huge market for people who don't want to bother with painting their 360, especially considering the white HDD mod, plus white sides, wouldn't void your warranty at all.

Well there, they updated the original post to show the crystal clear HD covers and not a whole new topic, everyone happy now?

I do find it funny though in the pic of the clear cover, with the clear console, they show the white stock fan tunnel on it. XCM makes like 10 different fan tunnels, figure they would at least try and squeeze one of them into the pic.

Haha, ain't that the truth.

The clear wouldn't be too bad with a fresh coat of paint on it, maybe jagged edges and LED's could top it off.

Yeah, for real. But I gotta thank them. Seeing their modded cases is what gave me the modding bug, but the fact that the HD wouldn't match is why I did my own mod.

The only shroud XCM makes is the hot rocks shroud. The other ones are made by talismoon.
