hi.

first of all, i right now got a kiss dvd-player with ethernet card build in, with this i can stream music, video(incl, divx xvid etc.), and pics from my pc, over LAN, with a program called, free-kiss. just "tells" the program which folders it should share for my dvd player.

now my question is, is that also possible with the ps3?? can i run a program on my ps3 so that i can stream the same things??

i got NO internet connection.....

is it possible to get the ps3 playing divx, xvid?? like transcode360 for xbox??

Has TVersity added any security features to their web interface yet? Last time I used it, if I wanted to set a machine outside the firewall so I could access my media anywhere, the web interface allowed anyone to modify settings and add or remove media from the library.

If they fix that issue, I'm all in to using that again because it was a very nice small program.
