* AMT plugin updated to 1.0.2 + AMT script updated

* I've tweaked the win32 >>run_me_first.bat<< so it runs and then unmounts the virtual drives when you exit.
* If you want to report bugs, please do it the PROPER way, see http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/wiki/index....oper_Bug_Report

INSTALL NOTES from T3CH readme/nfo:
QUOTE

* APPLICATION INSTALL
- Fresh Install: Transfer _whole_ XBMC folder to your APPS folder (or where you want it).
- Upgrade: Backup the XBMC\UserData folder. Transfer whole XBMC folder to Xbox. Overwrite UserData folder with your backed up copy.

* DASHBOARD INSTALL (SOFTMODS)
ARE NOT COVERED IN THIS README, SEE http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=406656

* DASHBOARD INSTALL
- Option 1. Team XBMC's shortcut tool.
It's included in the _tools folder as <<SHORTCUT by TEAM XBMC.xbe>> + <<SHORTCUT by TEAM XBMC.cfg>>.
Instructions here: http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/wiki/index....=As_a_Dashboard (Option 1).
Rename the <<SHORTCUT by TEAM XBMC.xbe>>+.cfg & also EDIT the .cfg so it matches your config.
See APPLICATION INSTALL above.
- Option 2. Thanks to an app called 'Team UIX's Xbe Shortcut Maker v1.0' by JbOnE, it's now easy...
Transfer contents of XBMC folder (this is VERY important since the tool is hardcoded) TO "E:\APPS\XBMC\". Rename <<SHORTCUT by TEAM UIX.xbe>> to something your bios can boot (see http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/wiki/index....=As_a_Dashboard or read your BIOS README) and transfer to location your mod solution boots. No need to fiddle with HOME tag anymore, and future upgrades you need not to worry about this file (unless you move XBMC).

* WIN32 PC ENVIRONMENT INSTRUCTIONS (WIN32 FOLDER)
Good to know, this requires DirectX9 Runtimes to be installed. Also this doesn't work with all graphics cards.
You need to:
- Copy XBMC_PC.exe & 'run_me_first.bat' from win32 to XBMC folder
- Run 'run_me_first.bat'
- Run XBMC_PC.exe

* UPGRADE TIPS
If you're updating from a VERY old/bad build you may get issues. Follow these simple rules:
- Replace (FTP OVERWRITE) all files in your XBMC folder with fresh ones from your new build
- Delete old settings (from UserData/guisettings.xml)
- In some rare cases some of the database files in UserData/Database/*.db may need manual deletion (usually if they are very old). Note: This loses all per file settings you made with the old build!

Is there any way to make the fonts bigger? i updated from the XBMC-SVN_2007-03-23_rev8306-T3CH-PROPER.rar version, and now, in all the skins i can barely read the text, when before it was pretty big and well, readable

If I click the Party Mode in the video library it tells me that it found no matching songs. Clicking OK on that still enables the Party Mode button.

Selecting Update Library and then navigating to the homescreen, stalls the update scan.

Also a little question, wouldn't it make more sense to run the clean up library after the actual scan instead of before it? That way if the scan adds any shows without episodes they get removed in the clean up.

I seeing some unusual behaviour in relation to music visualations. I'm using a complete clean install. I'll try and explain it best I can:

I'm playing music in fullscreen with milkdrop preset and bring up the OSD. The edges and buttons of the OSD appear jagged, non anti-aliased. If I bring up the song info that has info on song, artist, time, etc and then bring up the OSD, it is completely smooth as it normally is.

The same behaviour is seen on the home screen when playing music with the milkdrop preset in the background. When like this the XBMC logo appears jagged. Pressing black to bring back the regular image in the background and the XBMC logo changes back to being smooth again.

Somebody mentioned this behaviour also in a build about 2 weeks ago.

Dang, your fast spiff. Thank you for all your hard work. smile.gif

About the scan problem, I've looked at a little more and it only happens if IMDB scraper is running. If I wait until the IMDB scraper is done and the TheTVDB scraper starts up then I can move back to the homescreen without it stopping. Also I'm not scanning anything new, everything should already be scanned. Oh and it does not seem to halt right away, it does scan a few movies while the homescreen is up before just stopping (scan window is still up, but does nothing).

Here's a debug log if it help any:

I just tried "installing" this build from a stable build - unpacked the rar file, deleted the XBMC folder on C: (where it was before), ftp'd the XBMC folder from the new build - and after a reboot I got the following error:

XBMC Fatal Error:
Invalid or missing <home> tag in xml - no skin found, or [... couldn't see rest ...]

Init network using static ip...
IP Address: 192.168.1.103

When I FTP'd into it, I noticed that I had no F: drive any more, but I can see a Q: drive instead which looks like it has copied the contents of the C: drive.

So since I've been messing around with it myself lately... I took a look at the log file:

....and I thought I was smart and decided to copy the keymap.xml file (from the build, which placed it into XBMC\User Data) into the C:\XBMC\ folder (as well as Q:\XBMC\)... Evidently, I'm an idiot... I rebooted, the thing showed (and is currently showing) the very cool T3CH logo but will not go anywhere else.

And now I can't FTP into it to undo my "genius" move.

Can anybody help, please? I had someone else mod this for me (I think he used a SmartXX chip) and I've been trying to tinker with it by myself... I really hope it's not broken and I haven't lost all of my movies and games.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you try to overwrite your old XBMC build while you were running it?

Best not to do that. wink.gif

Hold down white + Y when loading XBMC to force the emergency recovery mode.

Ah haha. Boy, do I feel dumb.

Well... since I already look like a muppet... once I hold down white+Y to force the emergency recovery mode, how do I... recover?

Is it too naive of me to think that I can get this going without having to use tools other than an ftp program?

As I wrote in my previous post, I thought that I had done the fresh install - I deleted the XBMC folder on my C drive and then ftp'd the XBMC folder that came in the Sept 30 SVN build (yes, while it was running - but how else would I have been able to ftp into it?). I didn't touch the win32 pc or any other folder.

So was what I did an upgrade?

Am I going to have to redo the entire thing - wipe the hard drive, start from scratch? sad.gif

If so... how do I do it myself? uhh.gif Any chance having that mod chip that I had installed will save me from opening up the thing and allow me to do this easily?

Thanks for your help and patience!!
