Alright heres the deal ive had my box modded since 2003 and ive finally got something weird happening. When i go to boot the box, every once in a while it will start then shut down...start then shut down....then start and flash without anything on the tv.

now im thinking finally after moving the box over the years the chip has lost a little bit of connection. or could it have something to do with the connection between the power supply and the power cable?

if its teh chip im thinking ill just leave it...only happens 1 out of 15 boots or so

but if its the solder joints at the power supply ill probably take care of it.

so what do you think?

what do you mean by its way out the door...like i was suggesting(the connection between xbox and power cable.....or more specifically the power jack connection on the power supply)?

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere between the chip and your motherboard, just reflow the connections and you should be ok.

Take care doing the D0 point.
