Left 360 On The Stove... It Melted.. :(, PICS! Options

Well, me and a few buddys got together one night to do a little lan party with halo 3. well the ethernet cord we had to connect the 360s was to short, so we moved a 360 from standing up next to the tv to laying on its side on the stove, now at that point we had no idea someone would accidently turn it on, well it happened, was on for a good 25 minuets till a friend came in the room and asked "Whats cooking?" we looked at eachother then noticed it smell like burning plastic, my friend notices the oven is on, it wasnt the oven.. it was the top burner the 360 was sitting on. so we all rush to the scene to lift it off the burner to see that theres a giant melted hole in the center of the xbox, i freaked but my buddy who owns the xbox ran to his house to feed his dogs, only to come back to a surprise..

I would take that InterCooler360 off if you have any hope of that thing to continue to work.

They are junk and are known to cause issues.

Crazy bad luck? Haha, no. It's crazy bad luck if you park your car under a building and someone jumps off the top and lands on it. It's not crazy bad luck if you stick your $400 Xbox 360 on the stove and the thing melts! That's what we call stupidity. Jeez, you could have stood the thing up on it's side and put it on the middle of the stove. Putting on the burner, however, that's just asking for trouble.

Besides, has this guy not heard of Xbox Live? Why bother with a LAN game if you can just do the same exact thing over xbox live? And the stove?

You should get rid of that intercooler too. Those things are xbox-killers. You need something with dedicated power, not something that pulls power from the xbox.

The stove wasn't on when he put it on the burner, the bad luck is that someone turned it on. I agree it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but would not have been a problem if someone didn't cut the stove on.
