I was thinking about getting Half Life 2 so I could play Team Fortress 2 on the 360. How is the on-line play? I heard sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes to get a complete team. Is this true? Have they fixed the lag issue also with the latest patch?

I've only played maybe three or four matches and all those times I got in a game with heaps of people right away and got playing..

Ranked matches seem to fill up quickly... player matches seem to fill up after you start the game.... I have fun on both player and ranked... I just like to play that game... it's hella fun

i recently returned it to gamefly.

the online is good IF you find people who stick around.

reminds me of splinter cell, 10 out of 10 fun factor when you got a good group playing.

that and at least the games i was in, half the team either didnt have mics or didnt use them.

aside from that, portal is a couple hours of original fun, and half life 2 with the expansions are another 10-20 hours of play.

edit: lag was rarely a problem in the games i played.
