I'm about to order some XCM and Talismoon parts:

XCM High Speed Fan
XCM Add-on Fan
XCM X-Window Chameleon Case
Talismoon Aurora
Talismoon Twilight Flow (Fan Cover)

However I have a question about whether it could power all of those at once. I checked all the tutorials and they all use the same power supply (the dvd power). I know that the High Speed Fan and the Add-on Fan can work together, but I'm not sure the Aurora and the X-Window Case can be put on as well.

If not, I'm going to drop the Aurora, Twilight Flow, the X-Window, and just get a Ghost Case (Gun Metal Transparent).

If anyone knows if these parts can all be modded in a way to get them all to be powered PLEASE let me know.

i believe you are talking about the 360, and i would never throw all that on the DVD power, wire it up the right way

Like lostboyz said, dont wire all that up to the DVD-Drive. You will run the risk of frying it.

If i were you I would take a look at THIS. It has pics of all the places you can use to pull power from wink.gif

I'm looking at the parts right now, how do I know which wire gets soldered to what? Like the Add-on fan has two wires, would I solder both of those on the same spot?

I wouldn't recommend doing any of these mods if you A. don't know where to solder anything, and B. think you can solder both wires (+ and -) to the same spot.

USUALLY
Black is ground
Red is the hot.

Of course, some company could use whatever color they want.

Just research a bit more before you do these mods.

The 360 isn't something cheap to practice on. (i learned that from experience sad.gif)

Edit: Ditch the twilight flow and the high speed fan, and get the whispers and a crystal flow.

Man...coming from an experienced xbox 1 modder...i wouldnt do any of this if your that inexperienced. it would be better to spend about 50$ on some cool shit for your XBOX 1 and look up some power spots on the motherboard, and mod it up. if you can do that without fucking it up, its better to waste 120$ then like 500-600.

do NOT practice on the 360. im about to mod mine up...first 360 ive done. im pretty confident but yeah...i have experience with computers and xbox modding.

the 360 is not too much more complicated than the xbox 1....so do yourself a favor and do that...plus you can impress your friends.

and hell, if it turns out alright sell it on ebay...pick up some bones.

however, if you ARE daring enough...look up the power points on the 360. you can wire it up correctly and get all of that shit in there easily.

IMO the fans are sort of pointless...if you like it THAT much, just buy a black night X case that comes with lighting. they are like 70$...you dont need all those damn fans.

NO, no, no, no, no no, oh no, no, and NO

that my friend is what you call a short circuit

you need a voltage drop to power anything, Vcc being a positive voltage (5v or 12v) to ground (0)

No harm, no foul - I've done the same before. I hope this guy doesn't destroy his system.
