Hey Falcon In The Arcade! Options

I'm freakin happy, my gamestop lady is awesome, she let me open 3 360s at the store. We opened a halo3 lot# 0734 nope. opened a pro lot# 0739 nope. the last one (of course duh) had the Falcon heatsinks

What can I say my gamestop lady is cool and I know that most gamestop employees will never be that cool
but I spend a crap load of money at that store and she knows that. I told her, I'm goin to buy a 360 either now or in the next couple months, it dosn't matter which kind but I was only goin to keep one with the new chips/heatsinks and the only way I could tell was to look in to the bottom with a flash light and that i didn't have to unwarp it just look in the bootom with a light

She said I can open them for you and I said really? freakin sweet lets do this and we opened them like this








Well my gamestop lady is cool and she made my day, in the next week or so Im goin to void the crap out of this thing and put my Zalman sinks on the new chips and put it in my micro computer case so I'll try to slow down enough to get some temperature readings between my Zalman sinked launch board and the Falcon but thats not exactly apples to apples so we'll see...

Only select 65NM on certain box's and most of them are the Halo3 SKU in Zephyr.

And just because you got a certain lot doesn't mean you have 65NM.

It's not biggie having 65NM. It's the GPU that is the problem anyway..Why do we need 3 or 4 threads a day asking about 65NM..

So instead of getting in my ass about, how the Falcon board or Falcon chips or 65NM chips or whatever you kids are calling them now days? That aren't actually out yet? according to you by your blatant post.

Why don't you guys get together and make a new word for falcon chips in zephyr boards i don't know maybe something like.... "this ones on the house" "falzephy" I dont care... just don't get in my ass about "how the falcons not out yet", when clearly you are calling it Falcon on your front page's news.

He states the fact according to his understanding of the new chips and I the same. Personally I would say they are "Falcon chips" and I'm just posting my findings on the forums because I haven't seen any postings of new chips in Arcades. I'm just trying to help the other people interested in the newer Falcon chips find them too. thats all.

When I see the first reply a Moderator dog me like I havn't heard the nay sayers side already. then I will say my side when i get the chance too. mind you he edited his post give me a break it was nasty too.

If you would like I could edit my post too and we could look like a bunch of happy xbox scencers but just know i speak my mind on the subject too.

perhaps it specifically talks about the xbox he was working on where the CPU was the culprit, but chances are I don't believe the GPU is at fault or else they would have changed it first instead of the CPU

the hardware section there have two stickied threads on the new falcons, and alot of people have been finding them in arcades, if not all arcades are falcons

yeah the last 2 pics are on a mini tripod. so they are pretty relative in distance from the board
so the size is relavie too. I would say both dies on the gpu and cpu chips are about 20% smaller also relative from 90NM and 65NM what is that? 90-65= 25 so 25% smaller i would say.

well hey lets face it you are sick of hearing these questions about the Falon / 65 NM chips. so why dont you take all the pictures and facts and put them together for a sticky and then all the people
that ask simpler questions about these newer chips will easily find their answers and then you won't have to modorate the posts about these falcon chips that you dislike to moderate.

put one sticky in general questions and put the other in the hardware forums.

that way you won't have to take the lords name in vien and treat the person posting as if he doesn't know crap about what he's talking about.
