Not sure if you can find em in the US.
I bought the SH-D162C from this place in Germany: http://www2.computeruniverse.net/
They had no problem shipping to the US.

I can't seem to find a single retailer in the US selling any kreon capable drives! This sucks ... does anyone know of a US retailer? inter continental shipping isn't cheap ...

It is still from Germany but overall is $20 cheaper than the earlier posted site. Definitely cheaper than eBay. Total including shipping to be was about $46 (€30.25)

This is the first firmware for these drives, you probably have one of the other kreons. There is a 1.0 for those as well. Its always good to be up to date on stuff. Also it only takes 30 seconds to flash one of these and is easily done in windows.

So.... i ordered my D162D drive and I'm kinda worried now... where can i grab the kreon firmware v1.0? been searching everywhere, all i found were pre-flashed drives, and not the standalone firmware. uhh.gif Thanks for your help
