Attention Translators !, We need your help again (sorry) Options

Okay, this is a Greek (EL) translation.

Please inform us as to what font encoding might be needed to view greek in XBMC360. I did the string file on Openoffice, in Greek Ubuntu distro with UTF-8 encoding.

"Greek (EL)" is that the same as the Greek folder of XBMC or is it somthing different ? Because only ones that match XBMC will work

Updated : All the Current Language files to use the new [CR] format for text line return instead of the old
that was causing problems with the translator application and also didn't work due to recent internal changes to XBMC.
You will need a XBMC newer than rev 10880 for these to work properly.

Do I need to repost the file? I see it still downloads properly from the link I posted initially.

OK, I did it as [carriage return] at the work's PC with notepad, I upload it as .txt file though, couldn't convert it to XML myself there. Hope that helps. Excuse my newbiness, this is my first time interacting with .xml files.

I got this error when I tried to launch the translator.

OK, I did it as [carriage return] at the work's PC with notepad, I upload it as .txt file though, couldn't convert it to XML myself there. Hope that helps. Excuse my newbiness, this is my first time interacting with .xml files.

How did you get your translation app. to work.

It just worked after the installation. The only thing I did was put the english strings.xml file in a folder called English and select 'New Language' from the File menu.

Here is the final Greek language file, at last! Hope it's allright now: Download strings_greek.xml

darcool thanks but technically it was wrong you need to use [CR] for a line return in the text now instead of & # 1 0 ; <-- no spaces
