I'm trying to flash my friends MS28 using via pci card 6421, ASUS mother board and iPrep. I am trying to do iDump using bad flash method and could extract the orig.bin but once it has done so, it gives me an error saying No Valid Key Found. I also tried using Firmware ToolBox to extract the key but it is also giving me a Key not valid error. I have succesfully flashed my MS28 before and never had this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

dump it again!

And are you using a floppy disc? If so, is there enough space left to safe the orig.bin ??

This is driving me nuts. I'm not sure where this bin was from but it's definitely not form the XBOX 360. What is weird is that I have all the drives unplugged. I have tired both iDump and mktflash commands and it recognizes the drive but once I try to do the 10 sec trick it wont dump the damn Bin. I am using a pci via sata chip card. Tired all kinds of timing still wont dump the bin. Any suggestions?

looking at your idump command i see u use iprep

Did you select the right sata device in iprep when creating the bootdisk? If so, did you use the INTERNAL port on the pci card?

Try to dump it a couple if times and see if you get a good key

What version of samtool are you using? If it is v0.5, updated to v0.7i or to firmtool v1.1 and see if it fixes the issue.
