Joystiq Explaining the Xbox 360 SKUs
Posted by XanTium | November 23 22:07 EST | News Category: Xbox360
From joystiq.com: [QUOTE] We'd love to say picking up Xbox 360 is as easy as going to the store and grabbing the first box with the console's name on it. For better and worse, this generation of consoles gives consumers many choices at the (potential) expense of causing confusion at the store.
So it's with this in mind that we present you this handy guide for discerning the difference between the various Xbox 360 versions (aka SKUs) out there.
Because notebook hard drives are damn expensive, and the low capacity cheap ones are already out of production. Honestly I think it was stupid to build a console without a 3.5" hd.

To the above post, very true. 3.5' hard drives are dirt cheap now, would have been so much easier to use one of them, even if it wasnt external and upgradable. Its what made the xbox what it was, and they took it out.
The next xbox better have one, they say it'll have a 4tb hard drive according to an article that was on here a few weeks ago.
