well wasnt the ps3 released the week before blackfriday...therefore there wasnt a huge amount of units instock for blackfriday, if i remember correctly sony released a second shipment just for blackfriday but it was pretty small and most of it ended up on ebay..so an increase of 300% doesn't seem that impressive. We are going to have to wait for overall sales figures for the holiday season.

I agree that a comparison to last year doesn't cut it and am interested in seeing the new numbers when they come out.

The 40GB PS3 was released on November 2nd, not a week before Black Friday. SONY is gonna sell more units that MS will this holiday.
