Here in Colorado Springs, there are tons of Arcades and Halos, still a bunch of Premiums, and 1 Elite... used... Zephyr...

I'll be hunting for an Elite Falcon...

I work Electronics at a Wal-Mart and I think he's right. The Halo 3 Xbox's aren't selling. We've had just one in stock for probably weeks and it isn't selling. The Elites weren't selling and now we don't even put them out anymore. After all, neither of the two come with any games.

The Elite does in fact come with the 2 pack in games. If yours don't that means your distribution center is sending you the old ones.

The Halo Unit isnt selling for one BIG reason in many of my customers eyes: no games and no Halo 3.
We dont like the Arcade very much where I work. We try to sway people from it unless they cannot afford the Pro. We don't get a lot of interest in the Elite unless the person walks into the store already knowing they a going to buy it. In my store there hasnt been that many Pros and I dont think we even had a shipment of xboxs for black friday. (Though on a side note we did sell about 3 original XBOXs that day wink.gif )

If there is a shortage I think its because the demand is so high for the Pro though its no where near as high as the demand for the Wii. The demand for the PS3 has gone up a lot but we still push more XBOXs out the door smile.gif

Ship all the stock from Australia to the USA PLEASE!!

I bought a premium a month ago and it was manufactured in sept 2006... As soon as all our old stock is gone the sooner we get the falcon 360's which I was hoping to pick up.

Yes I know this is not feasible I just want these non falcon 360's out of our supply chain so I can sell mine and get the newer one. The one I have is way too loud for recorded TV watching...

Maybe this is why my Elite RRoD repair is taking so long? It has been saying "Device Received at Service Center" for well over a week now, or is it supposed to be taking this long?

I now have to send in my launch premium console (MFR date 10-28-2005) too as that just got the RRoD grr.gif

It took me 5 shops to find my Elite in the UK in town about 3 months ago, i think the ones with game deals at normal RRP are making the stock short.

Yes there was.

BTW: I manage at huge retailer (you probably wouldn't guess) and we've only had the Halo 3 edition 360's for a few weeks now.

We've also been out of PS3's and Wii's for a few weeks, too. Even Nintendo DS is sold out as of yesterday.

We usually have tons of PS3's, no Wii's, and a couple Pro and a couple Elite 360's. So right now it's not the norm to be out of everything but the Halo 3 360's.

interesting article about one individual's observations on 360 stock locally...

i have seen all flavors of the 360 in stock at multiple locations around town...and yet i have never even see a wii on the shelf ever...
