Poll: Most missed Xbox 360 back compat titles
Posted by XanTium | November 30 00:31 EST | News Category: Xbox360

From joystiq.com:
[QUOTE]
Let's help out the "back compat ninjas" (as they're known) and identify and rank the [Xbox1] games we want to see running on the 360. We've started by gathering every single game Joystiq readers listed here, and dropping them into this fancy UnSpun poll. Want to add another? Click on "Add an item to this list" at the bottom of the poll.

Loved Deus Ex, that and UT were my favorite shooters for pc.

This would be nice.

I still play Tiger Woods 2005 with family so that would be nice also.

This is an area MS could strive for now because it always used to be Sony that had the best BC and they used to brag about it all the time, now it can be MS's turn biggrin.gif

I wasn't aware the xbox 360 had B/C that was even semi-mentionable, I've had to pull out my xbox on numerous occasions to play games that were considered "popular" at the time, which were completely ignored. In the end I keep my xbox right next to my 360 and throwing away or selling my xbox would be idiotic due to MS's horrible BC work.

It seems like all they did was create an engine, then spend 30 seconds per game writing a compatability script, if it took longer than 30 seconds they dumped it, which is why it would seem they blew their load too early and "ended" backwards compatability updates very shortly after the 360 was released.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 was a a kick ass game that I would like to see supported as well... all the versions since have sucked. Oh well.. I got a feeling it will never be supported.

Shill?

nothings been ended, and considering the technical challenge is actually quite impressive. How's the ps3's software B/C now they decided to rip out the hardware?

hmm, lets see here: 360 can play almost 500 back-compat titles and 40gb ps3 can play none

chit, i bet if they hired you, xbox360 would have an additional 500 titles ready to add to the list by the end of next week
