I wish there was a way to share from a linux box too. I store all of my videos, music, pictures, etc there for stability. Xbox1 does over samba works like a charm, but to 360 blah. VM is not viable

I'm currently running twonkyMedia 4.1 to stream my music. But now that 360 supports good video formats. I'm thinking of upgrading. HOWEVER, my 30 day trial for twonkymedia 4.2+ has expired. So I couldn't tel lyou how it works w/ the new update. Maybe you can try it?

I never got ushare to work. I'm doing the same as you, running Xbox1 with Xebian to stream my media.

I had connect360 3.1 and when i updated to Mac OS X Leopard it stopped working. I Updated to 3.2 in hopes that it would fix this problem, but sadly it still wont work from leopard

3.1 and 3.2 work fine for me under Leopard.

Perhaps trashing you current install (using something like appzapper to get rid of any other files) and reinstalling may do the trick

This software works well but..

Support for multiple video locations (videos on different drives etc)

Arrange in folders. I arrange TV series in separate folders and this organising it kept with windows media 11 sharing to the 360 but connect 360 just outputs a HUGE list which is a complete PITA.
I can't see this being difficult to do and as my (and others) DivX/Xvid collections grow then this is going to present a bigger problem.

Other than that, it works.

I tried the latest trial for first time. Whenever I try to play music off Xbox 360 from my PowerMac, it loses connection and I have to restart Connect360 on the mac. If I play video it works fine.

I am sharing my music through itunes and can browse the songs but as soon as I try to play it causes this problem and even prevents playing video until I restart it on my Mac.

I tried that also and its still not working. I can get the list of my music to come up on the 360 but when i try to play it a symbol comes up saying it cant play it (the symbol like on the no smoking signs....i forgot what to call this symbol )

EDIT: I just tried playing videos and it works, but its still the music that is a problem...It's doing the same thing IntestineMan is describing

The 360 cant play DRM protected content that is bought through Itunes. Try converting the music files to mp3 format.

All my music is mp3 format....well, most of them atleast and none of them still work

Whats that supposed to mean? Oh and I have a 80gig Ipod and i never connect my Ipod to my 360, since i use Connect360. As for commandersafi, i dont know what else to do. I guess try to contact nulliver and tell them the problem.
