hey my friend has a ps3 and well he telling me it turns on and then suddenly shuts off back i never worked with ps 3 before but i haveworked with ps2 xbox360 and xbox1
can some give me som in sight on this i have no clue y this would happen except for some power failure

Does the fan turn? How long before it turns back off? From my research early models give message it's overheating. I guess this is a small %. Others just shut off. Has he tried turning on while holding down power to reset video defaults?
