Hi,

My xbox is softmodded and set to load up XMC when it boots which is does well, I want to change it so that it loads up Avalauch as the default dash rather than me having select the dash from the file manager within xbmc? what do I need to do? I am not that great with the tech details of the xbox?

also - is there any point is flashing the bios of my softmodded xbox?

One thing that generally works is swapping names of XBMC and Avalaunch. Change the XBMC.xbe to Default.xbe. Then change Avalaunch.xbe to XBMC.xbe. This way the box loads the what it thinks is xbmc, but is really avalaunch. Then just edit the Avalaunch.xml file to add xbmc and to the apps directory.
