Also here is another deal from Best Buy. They have taken some of the HD-DVDs and created box sets and selling them for $50. Most of the movies in the sets are usually $25 each, so your saving $25 or getting a 3rd movie for free.

this is a helluva amazon deal; especially for those of us who still get 10% off hd dvd purchases until the end of the year... unfortunately, the list of movies is only 58 titles now - i would have bought polar express and casino if they were still on the list.

the total value of the 6 movies i ordered was $144 and my final order was only $57.48!

normally, i would say that 6 standard definition dvd movies that i actually want to buy for $57.48 is a great deal...

Awesome deal. Best Buy has had a deal like this recently, too (might still be going; have to check). Anyway, I'd advise everyone who wants some movie deals to check their local circular's (Best Buy/Circuit City/CompUSA), and look for "Buy One Get One" on HD; they're gonna make a killing before Christmas.

we have no deals like this infact we have no deals what so ever regarding hd-dvd
they have only just recently added King Kong as a free movie when you buy the drive
theres no such thing as 5 free movies or any of the stuff that goes on in the states
drop the prices and give us free shit and im on board

Yeah them slickdealers grab like 20 of everything. Remember when they had that Toshiba HD player for $100 at BB? Some ppl claimed to purchasing up to 15.. I guess the early aggressive bird catches the worm.
On another note, I personally didn't whore this deal out, just bought troy, constantine, superman returns, and phantom of the opera for my girlfriend.

I'm in Australia and it's always been free with the drive. I got mine at release and it had King Kong bundled with it as did all the others on the shelf.
