M$ still wins the 100% RROD failure rate with first generation 360 consoles, mine just died after 18 months with fan mods.... They are still failing M$...when are you going to really fix the problem!!!

My bad I forgot about the RROD problem lol. I had it at one time, but it was fixed within a week and I haven't had an issue since.

Best Quality Games? Give me a break!! Halo 3 was shit. Call of Duty 4 is the only quality game they have and its on PS3 as well.

I can not wait until PS3 comes back around and 360 can't even keep up to it with Next-Gen gaming. I'm soo sick of Microsoft's attitude.

Well the PS3 has had a year now and they still arent anywhere close to where the 360 was a year after launch. I cant even name a total of 5 exclusive titles on PS3 that are worth buying.

Dont get me wrong. I am not hating on the PS3. I do have one, and there is only maybe like 2-3 games I can play on it that I cant get on 360. 360 is the most attractive of the consoles out. It has Live which gives it a huge advantage over the other 2, there is alot of good games released for it, but there is also a handful of crappy games, but mostly those are aimed at younger children, also the achievement system allows for replay value on some games.

I own a 360, Wii, and PS3. The Wii sells alot of systems. The games for it on the other hand are shit. There is to many crappy games for the Wii. Ive have played a few I turned on for 5 minutes and turned off. Only 2 good games so far Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 & Wii sports.

They based "quality" on meta critic scores and in that by that metric they're absolutely correct in their assertions. They also made no mention of Halo 3 so why did you feel the need to bring it up?

Their "attitude"? on a whole they've been pretty f*cking humble this generation in comparison claims laid by other companies in the past.

In any case their "attitude" is nothing compared to the one Sony's had since 1995... which they finally dropped once they realized they're not as important to gamers as they once thought they were.

Every company toots their own horn... it's marketing. At least Ms presents it as "here is a fact and we're proud of this fact" as opposed to "we're the best because we said so... just wait.. you'll see"

Give it 10 -18 months from when receiving the replacement is how long you have left on it...........Live in a warm humid climate the 360 will fail even quicker........100% M$ guaranteed...............

well, i don't know why there's all this hating on the 360 in this thread. for microsoft to be in the position they are at right now is great. they have a solid console, solid games lineup and are appear to be focused on making sure its users have a great console throughout this generation. i'm glad to see the 360 is doing well.
