Xbox Version: v1.6
360 version: v4.0 (jasper)
I've got a couple XBoxes here. One is chipped (XCE3) and the other has a soft mod.

I've never had these boxes online and was wondering just what is necessary to get them online... I assume that the softmodded box will need to stay off of Live! The chipped box can have the chip switched off for Live!

Are there other networks that these XBoxes can connect to in the same way as Live!, or am I stuck running tunnelling software?

Assuming they've never had live contact, simply disable the chip (hard drive locked of course) and boot it to the stock dash and you're fine.

If they have been connected they'll probably get banned sad.gif

Softmods CAN go on Live depending on version/chips/etc refer to the softmod faq section. That's just a quick overview from what I remember I haven't opened an xbox in multiple years sad.gif
