i have a fat psp that i recently installed the 3.52 m33-3 custom firmware on
i have been thinking of buying a 8gig memory card to replace my current 2gig card but im worried that it wont work with my psp huh.gif
i asked on a few other forums and some people say it will work but others tell me that it wont unsure.gif has anyone here used a 8gig card with the same firmware that i have?
i don't want to buy it and find that i have wasted my money

I don't have personal experience of using anything larger than 4gb cards but all PSPs (fat/slim) are compatible with 8gb cards. The fact you are using custom firmware will make no difference.

I can confirm, yes you can and it works a treat. Although a little slower than the smaller cards when transferring files.

Also adding to it. My 8 gig works great as well. Was skeptical at first just like you are. Then I got off my lazy ass and actually picked one up. Great for someone who has a ton of homebrew apps or games.
