I have a computer wit a cd-rw drive and dvd-r drive. I have been burning games to my hard drive but im running out of room on my hard drive. I also know you can burn games on cd-r's but not many games fit on cd-r's. Is there any way I can burn games onto a dvd disc with a cd-rw drive a dvd-r drive and a evolution x connection between my computer and my xbox. Please Tell Me!

I tried that.....CD and DVD are both different medias.....too bad the CD can hold up to 700mb of space....you can burn the games that are about 700mb or less on the cdr or cdrw. By the way, you know if you don't have the original game and its on your HDD then thats illegal! biggrin.gif

Im burning games i already have. I just am really disorganized and lose my games all the time. So I need to use the ones on the hard drive. Also you cant burn with a dvd-r you need a dvd+rw.

Ah I see.

What you have IS NOT a DVD-R

It is a DVD-ROM. ROM = Read Only Memory. It is a read only drive.

A DVD-R drive is a DVD writer. A DVD+R drive is another type of DVD writer.

<sarcasm>Hmmm. Lots of people on this site have too much money so they go and buy a DVD burner to burn DVD's although they all have perfectly good CD burners that could do the job. That makes sense. </sarcasm> rotfl.gif

If you ever work that out, maybe you could work on how to play DVD movies in a VCR next jester.gif

I figured out a way to play DVD movies in a VCR, but you need a beta VCR and some tin foil. biggrin.gif
