I was flattening capacitors for my project and accidently crossed the wires for one of them. I fired it up and the psu went straight to red, so I moved the motherboard and inspected it to see if anything was wrong, but I didn't see anything. I tried it again, same thing happened, so I gave the mobe a good spraying of CO2 and tried it again. I heard a hissing noise, a pop like a small firecracker, then more hissing. I immediately unplugged the power. I found the troublesome capacitor to be the big one closest to the power connector. I have extra capacitors to replace it with, but will this cause any other problems. Also, some of the fluids from inside the capacitor leaked onto the mobo. How conductive is this stuff? I haven't turned it on or even plugged it in since this happened. Any help is appreciated.
