Is it possible for someone to make a program that works with new hdd for the xbox, and locks them, so that way you can run the original bios?

I have seen your tutorial before and all the others on this site, but your tutorial is about unlocking a original xbox hard drive. I'm talking about locking a normal computer hard drive, in your xbox. So that way you can disable you modchip and still run a bigger hdd. There is really no point to this yet, but it might be an issue in the furture (xbox live). So that way you dont have to swap hdd everytime you play a live game.

I posted serveral messages about doing just this.

I have sucessfully locked a WD 1200JB (120gig) hard drive and my Xbox will boot the original bios and dashboard without problem.

With the exception of the new F: partition the existing ones all look the same and will present no problem to XBLive.

Do my same steps, but instead of running hdunlock.exe, run lock.exe or whatever. The zip u dl contains an extra exe that is for locking.

Add to that the caveats about "frozen" drives which are not really frozen, earlier.
