Q. Can a 110V PS3 be used in a 220V country or vice versa?
A. Yes. The PS3 PSU can handle both setups, but you are probably going to need a plug converter.

Q. Can I change the HDD in the PS3 and if so, what type of HDD must it be?
A. Yes you can change the HDD. You need a 2.5" sata HDD.

Q. Is there any way to use a 3.5" HDD in the PS3?
A. Yes. Some companies have made converters that helps you with that cause. You can also extend the connectors with standard cables, but that will be trickier and (probably) uglier.
