Not being a hardcore gamer I recently sold my Xbox 360 and I am planning on buying a PS3 instead.

I play very few games and the option of Blu-ray support tipped me over.

However, I do need a little bit of advice from the more experienced PS3 users on these forums. Having had very bad experience with third party cables for the XBox 360, I want to know if anyone can tell me what component cable I should buy.

I only have component on my TV - and I am not upgrading any time soon - so please don't tell me to use HDMI. I know HDMI will be better and easier.

I have a hard time finding an original Sony component cable here in Denmark, so I have cables from the following companys available to me:

Venom, Madcatz, Fanatec, Datel (no link unfortunately).

Datel being the cheapest and Fanatec the most expensive.

I am looking to hear from anyone with personal experience with any of these cables - or others that I might look for.

If you already have a PS2, the component cables from that will work well.
