ok here is the deal basically i am totally stuck. i am in the process of making a window for my 360 but i don't know first how thick i should get the plexiglass, second what kind of paint do i use to paint the case and third i want a clear cover for my disk drive. for the disk drive i want a clear cover or just a cover with a small part holding the CD on but i cant find one and i dont know if that means i have to cut it myself.

As far as plexiglass goes 1/8" and Krylon Fusion paint works the best.

so for the disk drive i would have to cut it if i wanted it the way i was picturing. also do u know where i could get a tutorial on cutting the disk drive cover?

I wish people would read the tutorials in the pinned areas up top. Everyday I log in and three people are asking about "what paint to use" Use whatever paint you want. Whatever clear you want. The window needs to be less than 1/2 inch thick. And llama.com used to sell dvd drive covers that have the tops cut out.
