I noticed yesterday when I was testing a DVD drive, that the power cord had slipped between the drive and the heat sink under the drive. If I would have pushed down on the drive to get it to seat itself in tight, I could have flexed the motherboard. This could cause the old 3rlod to pop up.

I did have a repair 3 weeks ago that was a laser problem, and after removing the drive and adjusting it about 5/6 times, I got the 3rlod error! The 360 had not been on for more that 2/3 to test each adjustment. So... I got to wonder, did I kill it by not checking the drive power cords placement?

Anyone had any experience like this?
