I took them long enough Sony and Nintendo dropped there Canadian prices a few months ago

I thought it was wierd that ps3 40gb model with a blu-ray drive was 399 and the xbox pro with no HD drive, and a 20gb hard drive was the same price.

albeit the game catalog is better for the xbox, but hardware wise... you were kinda getting a free bluray drive if you decided to go ps3.

the arcade sales might pick up some, this matches the price of the nintendo wii that sells for 279.99 on www.bestbuy.ca I am guessing Nintendo is going to have to correct their price for the wii to 249.99

for quite a while they were paying more due to their dollar being worth the same amount.

sony and nintendo already adjusted.

They're sold out pretty much everywhere in the US right now...

if your price is high and you cant make the product fast enough to meet demand then why would you drop the price?

The US Dollar is week right now... and it's not going to get better any time soon. in the past the US dollar was worth more than the Canadian dollar, and now it's worth slightly less.

The US console's got a price drop when the US dollar dropped in value, this Canadian price drop is just correcting the difference.
