Well, thanks, I've seen those videos.... a while back, it was one of the few WMV sources on the net. wink.gif

Unfortunately, we really need somehting that smoothly loops.... the start and ends match up, so it's going to have to be artificial. huh.gif

there is a bliss screen saver on the m$ website that uses a wmv of the bliss backround but the clouds were moving (smoothly) .

im sure you can edit it to be just the clouds.

here is the website ...... Bliss Screensaver

here is a sample .avi .......... http://www.M$.com/windowsxp/home/do.....loads/bliss.avi

hope this helps

edit-- change M$ to you know what

Here's a tileable image to try out....

Try it as a bumpmap AND a color texture. Place it on a plane behind the other stuff, as the ceiling of the sky, and scroll it until it's looped through.

Alternatively, you could move the bumpmap at twice the speed as the color map for an interesting effect.

Let me know how that works.

just got home from work, I'll give it a try tonight at work and I'll leave it here for the morning, I'll give it a go with multiple techniques and see how they turn out.!
