Hey guys,

I'm seeking some help because I'm so completely frustrated with trying to get my damn 360 to play any .avi files from my computer.
I've tried using Windows Media Player 11 and sharing them to my 360 and they don't show up when I browse to Media -> Videos and the WMP11. I should say that I tried this method on my XP Pro install.
I also tried using Tversity, both normally and using the guide on here (the one requiring an Xbox 360 patch or something? This patch always broke the install and didn't work at all).
I tried using Transcode 360 and I must be doing something wrong, because whenever I ask Media Center to transcode a file it just beeps and doesn't do anything at all.

What am I doing wrong??
As far as trying any of the programs go, I think I can do any because I'm dual booting MCE 2005 and XP Pro so any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Could you link me to this? search turns up negatory and I've never heard of it before.

Edit: I found it and I'm trying it out now...

They have a web-based way of sharing, so once its installed it should prompt you there to create an account. You add folders and such to be shared from the system tray icon.

It seems to be pretty nice, but I can't seem to figure out how to change the video resolution when streaming to the 360...
