Thanks

Yes it will still work, though it is inferior to the 12f683 rapid fire mods floating around here.

Thank you very much. I saw the 12f683 but was too lazy to research it because I had my own Idea but unfortunately my idea was much more complicated than I had anticipated.

I broke the potentiometer but even before that it was powering off after being on
For only a second or two. I made sure the battery was fully charged. Also, instead
Of removing the rumble pads, I placed the boards in the keyboard. Anyone have a
Clue why it's powering down?

I have a madcatz game pad wired controller, and I can't find the contacts for the trigger. Does anyone know what theyre labeled? Also, are tere any changes I need to make since its wired? (first time modding so if you have another advice I would really like to hear it, thanks!)

For anyone interested, I have the new controller I believe (CG2), and the mod works fine. I would use this tutorial:

http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/tu...pid-fire.45035/

though. It's basically the same tutorial as this, with credits to him, but it's only for the right trigger and it has everything already corrected. Like I said, it works, although right now I'm figuring out why everything is backwards for me (it fires while the pushbutton is up, and stops when I push it down, opposite of what it should be doing).

Also, I HIGHLY recommend anyone that is trying this to purchase a cheap electronic breadboard to put this mod together on before you solder everything. If I didn't do this, mine wouldn't have worked because I messed something up :/

Anyways, hope I helped!
