From next-gen.biz:
[QUOTE]
Ahead of the release of NPD's February sales results, The simExchange forecast in a Monday note that Xbox 360 will once again top the PS3. The firm expects the Nintendo Wii and DS to sell 450,000 units in the US each, with Xbox 360 selling 285,000 and PS3 selling 270,000.
The firm expects the Nintendo Wii and DS to sell 450,000 units in the US each, with Xbox 360 selling 285,000 and PS3 selling 270,000. PSP is expected to sell 259,000.

Pachter said in a Monday investor note that he expects PS3 to sell 260,000, with Xbox 360 selling 250,000 units.
He estimated that Wii sales would reach 300,000, considerably lower than The simExchange's prediction market estimate of 450,000 units.

Sony still hasn't even bundled the DualShock3 in the U.S. wink.gif

Why does Japan get all the cool stuff?

Microsoft is still claiming shortages?

I live in a town of 8000 people and the local store has 5 elites, a whole bunch of pros and arcades on the shop floor and has had for ages.

I don't know of anyone out of stock of 360s, or PS3s for that matter.

"Laaaaaaaadies and Geeeeeentlemen!

Welcome to this months match of predictions, in the red corner, Pachter, and in the blue corner, simExchange!!"

C'mon people, its just another round of predictions that don't seem to say much or ever provide accurate results

There may not be a shortage where you live, But i havnt seen an eliete in stores around here since well before x-mas. Last week my friend had to goto 5 diff stores just to find a pro. All places had arcade models, but who wants a 360 with no hd ore wireless controler?.
PS3s on the other hand are everwhere. Talking to the sales ppl all models of 360s with a hd are selling out within a day of being on the shelf.
