i ned hep i downloaded the debian live cd is that all i do ive tried ubuntu and gentoo i just dont get it tits my first time wiht ps3 lease help

you didn't really say what your problem is but the tuts for installing linux on ps3 are all quite detailed. I haven't tried debian but for ubuntu you don't want the live cd you want the alternate cd so you can install via command line first.
