MS doesn't have too much to worry about imo.
The only reason PS3 is selling that well is because of Blu-ray. That's it. MS still dominates even the Wii in software sales & attach rate.
Once all standalone Blu-ray players are priced at the PS3's price or cheaper, PS3 sales will drop considerably. I know that won't happen anytime soon, but still...
MS is still killing Sony in terms of next generation gaming. Again, if Sony didn't have Blu-ray in the PS3, the PS3 would be dead in the water.
Actually most people blame the inclusion of blu ray for the delay in the launch of the PS3 and the high price. Without blu ray we might have seen a PS3 that launched near the same time as the 360 with a similar price point, and specs that would have made it look much better in comparison(60GB harddrive, Wifi, hardware BC, HDMI, free online play, etc...) who knows how things would have panned out then...
I'd say the playing fields just about even now. almost all new games are shipping on both platforms, on the same date, with little to no differences between them. And while the 360 has an edge in number of games new customers look ahead towards new releases, nobody's buying a 360 to get their hands on PDZ or Kameo.
