* Zavvi is offering an Xbox 360 Pro (£200), with copies of Assassin's Creed, Lost Odyssey and Halo 3, for just £210.
* Blockbuster is promoting a deal for Xbox 360 Arcade (£160), which includes a new game (Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Army of Two or FIFA Street) for £169.99

agreed. these all sound like decent deals - especially if one was already in the market for a 360...

How cheap the 360 is getting now, I'm surprised Nintendo are still selling Wiis.

True that man, we seem to get things last, one thing were dead last in also would be the full movie marketplace thing the US and UK have.

Why are they doing this? I thought there was a shortage? Sort that out first.

The halo 3 360 is more expensive than the elite over there ohmy.gif ! That thing is $50 cheaper than the elite over here. I'm glad to see that you guys are finally getting some sort of deal over there, but those things are still way too expensive.

I agree we get shafted, although target was doing the arcade packs for $339 last time I checked. It shouldnt be to much longer before we get a price cut, or atleast a new bundle (well atleast I'm hoping).

yeah thats another thing that sucks here, the live marketplace. ive used the US one first hand and it has so much more content.

we get ripped off with console prices so much that its just not funny. im not shopping for a new 360 so im not really aware of any specials going on, but when ever i see the prices i think its bullshit

Why can't we see reductions in XBL annual costs instead... more people might be likely to purchase if they can get online for cheaper!

With the next price-drop on the xbox 360 and PS3, Nintendo will have to drop the price of the Wii. It's not like they can't afford it...

As far as I know, the shortage is over. Go into your local Best Buy and see for yourself.

Some of the deals on at the moment are really good!. Argos are selling the Arcade with 2 games (+the standard 5 you get anyway) for £159.99!! biggrin.gif . The Wii is now £20 more expensive than a 360 and no where near as good value and the PS3 is almost double the price. Its all good news for the 360.
